Mr. Frederick L. Denton
President
Mr. Denton is President & founder of New Century Systems, Inc., which is an Enterprise Authorized Hewlett Packard Partner. He is a working member of NCS’s Business Consulting Group and has over 30 years of corporate management and information systems technology experience.
His managerial strengths are in organization, analysis, planning, budgeting, marketing, and contracting. His technical strengths span project management, systems design, capacity planning, operating systems, database and client/server technology.
Prior to NCS, Mr. Denton held positions at Digital Equipment Corporation as Manager of the Technical Directorate for the US Postal Service Account Team, and also as Senior Solutions Consultant. He also held the position of Supervisory Computer Scientist for eight years while employed by the Naval Ocean Research and Development Activity.
Mr. Denton earned an Associate of Arts degree in Electronics Technology, a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Computer Science from the University of North Florida, a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern Mississippi, and graduated from Carnegie Mellon’s Information Network Institute. Additionally, Mr. Denton holds the following certifications: HP Alpha/OVMS Accredited Systems Engineer (ASE), HP Proliant/Windows Accredited Systems Engineer (ASE), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Microsoft Certified Professional, SQL Server V7.0 & SQL 2000. (MCP)
Mr. Denton served four years in the United States Air Force and six years in the United States Naval Reserve. Mr. Denton is a Vietnam Veteran and served one year in Southeast Asia.
As a private pilot, Mr. Denton and his wife enjoy flying their small, single engine plane. In addition, he is a member of the Wesley Chapel Volunteer Fire Department and is presently a designated Driver/Operator (5 years) and has served three of those years on the Board of Directors. Mr. Denton responded to over 200 emergency calls in 2007.
Mr. Paul W. Deyo
Account Executive
Mr. Deyo has been with NCS for over three years as an Account Executive. His sales skills are complemented by over 25 years of experience in Information Technology management, systems design, operating systems tailoring, client server applications, and Data Center operations.
Mr. Deyo’s technical operating systems strengths are focused in the Windows NT/2000 and Open VMS spaces. His Storage Systems and Storage Area Networks (SANs) expertise are well defined in the OpenVMS/Alpha, Tru64 UNIX/Alpha, and Window 2000/NT Proliant environments utilizing HP’s ENSA Architecture. He is an accomplished systems administrator and is proficient in Systems and Data Center Management, supporting large-scale Alpha, Proliant, & Blade implementations.
While at NCS, Mr. Deyo has designed, configured, specified and installed dozens of Storage Area Networks using Windows 2000/2003 and Tru64 Unix on Alpha and Proliant (Intel) servers.
Prior to joining NCS, Mr. Deyo was a member of the US Air force during the Vietnam Conflict. He also spent 23 years in progressively higher-level positions with Duke Energy Corporation, Charlotte, NC.
Mr. Deyo holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electromechanical Engineering and attended Marietta College majoring in physics. Additionally, he holds the following Certifications: HP Alpha/OVMS Accredited Systems Engineer, HP Proliant/Windows Accredited Systems Engineer, HP Master Accredited Systems Engineer (Master SAN ASE) in SAN Architecture, Microsoft Certified Professional and Windows NT/2000.
In his spare time, Mr. Deyo enjoys being the lead NASCAR Official at Hickory Motor Speedway on race weekends as well as camping and fishing with his wife of 35 years, Rebecca.
Mr. John W. T. Eerenberg
Senior Open VMS Consultant
Mr. Eerenberg is a Senior OpenVMS Consultant, which is part of NCS’s Business Consulting Group. He has over 25 years of in-depth technical knowledge and a solid track record of applying technology to corporate business realities. Mr. Eerenberg strengths are to combine precise, reliable, and efficient technology needs for businesses. His technical strengths also span project management, systems design, capacity planning, and operating systems.
Prior to working for NCS, Mr. Eerenberg had been a project manager for organizations such as Digital Equipment Corporation, Reynolds and Reynolds, and the United States Air Force.
Mr. Eerenberg earned a Bachelor’s of Science Electrical Engineering degree, and completed three of four years towards a Bachelor’s of Arts degree specializing in 17th Century English Literature and maintains a 3.95 GPA.
In addition, he holds a certification as a HP Alpha/OVMS Accredited Systems Engineer. Over the years, he has taken operating system internals classes for OpenVMS, Windows 2000, UNIX, DECnet, and TCP/IP and continues to refine and update his skills.
Rick Young
Account Manager
Rick Young is an Account Manager with NCS working out of Cashiers, NC with State and Local Government clients in both North and South Carolina. With over 30 years experience in Information Technology Sales, he assists clients with HP resources, provides product knowledge and configures technical solutions.
Prior to joining NCS, Mr. Young was a State Account Manager for HP, where he developed a reputation with both customers and business partners for honesty, broad industry knowledge and hard work.
He was also the Director of K12 Marketing for Emtec Inc. and held various positions with IBM for 19 years including Account Manager, Marketing Manager, and K12 State Advisor.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Tennessee Wesleyan College.
Mr. Theodore J. Allen
NCS Business Consulting Group
Mr. Allen is a working member of NCS’s Business Consulting Group and has over 18 years of information systems technology experience in the diversified fields of nuclear energy, automotive manufacturing, and banking/finance.
Mr. Allen’s technical strengths are in project planning and management, oral and written communications skills, in depth understanding of and experience implementing all systems life cycle phases, systems engineering, operating systems administration, database administration, capacity planning, operating system internals, network administration, problem analysis, and troubleshooting.
Over the past four years, Mr. Allen has been performing systems and network management of over 25 Enterprise Class OpenVMS Systems running on HP Integrity Servers (rx7620′s) utilizing HP EVA Storage Subsystems. He was also instrumental in helping the City of Charlotte transition from their Sun Solaris Systems to HP-UX in support of the Utility Billing System (UMS Project).
Prior to NCS, he spent several years as a consultant with Ford Motor Company. He also held the title of Senior Systems Engineer during his years with Electronic Data Systems.
Mr. Allen holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University with a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics with a scientific emphasis.
